Worst service ever!!! I have lived in Ione most of my life and never had to deal with such a RUDE POST MASTER. After numerous years of getting the mail delivered to my box in front of the house,SHE said they would no longer deliver the mail, because they could not drive down the road, because they did not want the vehicle stuck. The home is right in the middle of town they could walk 2 blocks and deliver the DAM mail. What ever happen to rain, sleet and snow? I called 7 times to speak with the post master and she never returned a call. When I did speak with her she was RUDE as hell. Now I have to pay for a box at the post office , which I never asked for in the first place.! I would give them NO RATING IF I COULD!
